Gold Creek Engineering, together with one of our trusted partners, recently helped a client complete a much-needed upgrade to a mobile skid powering a BE 680W dragline.

The project replaced aging, obsolete components with new protection devices, giving the client improved visibility into the operation of a critical dragline. With better monitoring and protection in place, the client can now make more informed operating decisions on a weak radial feed source.

During the project, inspection also identified the need for an emergency vacuum breaker replacement. Gold Creek Engineering and our partners were able to field-fit a new breaker with a much smaller footprint, completing the work with minimal downtime while also delivering the protection upgrade.
